Lukas and American Idol

For those of you who haven't heard yet, Lukas has pneumonia. He has been running a fever since last Saturday, but praise God it has started to stay in the normal range since yesterday. The doctor gave him a stronger antibiotic and he is starting to get better. He's getting more energy, which we are very thankful for. Please continue to pray for him. We are very concerned and hope that he is better soon so we no longer have to worry.

So this show is my favorite show to watch every year. And I am a little late in commenting on this last weeks episodes, but I'm going to now. SANJAYA SUCKS!!! AS DOES ANTONELLA!!! They both should have gone home. I can't believe that Sabrina was sent home. She was amazing! For those of you who didn't know, she is the worship leader at (crap, I can't think of the guy's name. Famous speaker that speaks at Promise Keepers a lot.)

My pick for the winner is up in the air, but I think it will be either Melinda Doolittle or Lakisha. The both are amazing!!! The guys don't even compare to the women this year! It is definitely a woman's year. Welll that's all I have to say for now. Catch you later.

Galaxy Golf Playground!

The kids and I had a blast today. We went to Mickey Ds for lunch and then we went to a place called Galaxy Golf and Games. It has the best playground ever! And, the best part is that parents can play on it with their kids! Can you see me crawling through plastic tunnels, climbing rope nets, going down enclosed spiral slides, etc.? Well I did and I think I had as much fun as the kids, only I wore out sooner! That's what happens when you get older and more out of shape!
Well, here are some pics. Enjoy! :)

Lukas' first space mission!

Lukas in the ball pit (for those who couldn't figure it out!) :)

Ava on a bouncy thing.

Help!!! I'm trapped!!!! (She really wanted to get down, but couldn't figure out how. I had to help her!!) :)

Ride'em cowgirl!!!

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

This slide was really fast. I actually went down it! It was a blast!! :)

Hope you enjoyed the pics. It really was a lot of fun. You'd never know from the somber looks on the kids' faces, though. ;)

In God We Still Trust

This was sent to me via email and I think it is amazing!!! The song by Diamond Rio apparently was considered too politically incorrect so it was never released to the public. It's sad that this is the case. It is an amazing song called "In God We Still Trust." Click here to listen to it.

Pass it on to friends!

Great Must See Movie!!!!

My wife and I went out to celebrate her birthday yesterday (Feb. 11) and we saw the best movie! It is called The Last Sin Eater. It is based on a book by Christian author Francine Rivers. The story is absolutely incredible and proclaims Jesus beautifully! It's a great movie to take friends and relatives who need Christ. It will really open doors for conversation. To learn more about the movie, click on this link: http://www.foxfaithmovies.com/thelastsineater/ You can view the trailer there and it will make you want to see the movie.

Howdy doody!!

Well, it's been quite awhile since I've posted, but I'm finally making time. The insanity of deadlines for filing quarterly and end of year returns has past and now the bloodsucking can begin. (Oops! Did I say that out loud?) I mean it's time to focus on taxes and bleeding people for as much money as possible to send to the Feds!!! Oh, maybe I shouldn't say that, since I am one of those leaches!!!!

Anywho, life is interesting. You never know what each day is going to bring. Today it's beautifully sunny but freakin' cold! But I had a great morning having breakfast at Bob Evans with my wife and kids, my parents, my sister-in-law, and two of my aunts from Pittsburgh.

Yesterday seemed to be the opposite kind of day. I got to work early and not long into the day I started being presented with problem after problem after problem, etc. I could have strangled the next person who called with a problem!!!

One such problem was with someone's W2. We have been switching from our old DOS payroll program (can you believe the are still out there?) to a new windows program. Somehow, in the process, Someones annual income was put into the system incorrectly and it appeared on the W2 as if they earned four more paychecks than they actually had. Not to mention that the new program held taxes at a different rate (new Ohio rates) than the old program, so that threw off their paystubs, etc. while the amount we were direct depositing (which was already set at a default in the direct deposit system) was lower due to the difference in taxes!!!! So if you can follow all that, and even if you can't, you can see that it is completely SCREWED UP!!! It's quite frustrating to say the least. That's how the day ended.

But the day was redeemed when I went to my parents' house and had dinner with my brother and his family, my family and my aunts. We spent a lot of time laughing histerically, primarily at my brother and his wife. They were a trip. I learned a lot about the heating and cooling industry (my brother is in that line of work). Every time the subject was changed, Phil amazingly brought it back to heating and cooling. It was quite hilarious.

Well, I stop rambling and let you get back to reading more interesting, less rambling blogs.
